Groundbreaking News: Illinois Approves Law for Yoga and Mindfulness in Schools
Illinois has passed a new law, SB 2872, allowing schools to incorporate at least 20 minutes of relaxation activities—such as yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises—into the school day. This milestone, supported by Yoga Alliance and other advocates, paves the way for greater student wellness and highlights the potential for similar initiatives in other states, including Ohio.
